I began providing Speech and Language services for Graham ISD in 2006.  Pioneer has always been my home school, but I have also provided speech therapy and supervision services at other campuses throughout the district.  

I have 24 years experience working as a Speech-Language Pathologist.  I worked as a Speech Language Assistant from 1993-1995, in Odessa, Texas at the Permian Basin Rehabilitation Center.  I returned to graduate school in 1995, and completed my Master’s degree in 1997.  Upon completion of my graduate work, I accepted a position as a Speech-Language Pathologist with a rehabilitation company providing speech-language services in long-term care facilities in Graham, Texas.  In 1999, I began working for Big 4 Educational Cooperative Services as a Speech-Langauge Pathologist for several small schools in the area.  I also worked for the Early Childhood Intervention Program, providing in-home speech services for children age birth to 3.  I enjoy working in the school setting with students of all ages, but especially love working with the children at Pioneer Elementary.  

My husband, John and I, have been marreid for 26 years.  We have two amazing children, both graduates of Graham High School.  We also have an 11 year-old Goldendoodle named Maggie.  

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends.  In the summertime, I enjoy reading a good book or two, but also love to travel.  I have been blessed to have taken several cruises with my family throughout the years.  We love visiting the many different islands in the Carribean.
